Jag har beställt en, men väntar fortfarande på leverans och kan därför inte uttala mig om kvalité, passform och storlek. På bilden ser den ut att vara ett perfekt basplagg med fina detaljer. Louis Dubrow, president of Mephisto Inc., said the backbone of his business is independent christian louboutin stores, but he also does business with Nordstrom and select Dillard’s stores. “We feel we have to be in stores that understand comfort and understand how to properly fit a customer. Service is extremely important to us and our brand,” Dubrow said. “The independent understands that very well, and so do the larger stores we’ve chosen to do business with.”

Still, Ravel said even if department stores started carrying the same brands he carries in his store, he wouldn’t drop those lines but would just do a better job with them.
But the shift in the competitive landscape can hurt after a Nordstrom recently opened nearby, Ravel said his store’s traffic slowed. “Originally, comfort brands start with independent retailers and they don’t have a wide distribution, so the independents have control of that brand. Once the brand is in department stores, we lose margin,” Ravel said.
“Certain brands, however, I would still carry. Our top five brands — Dansko, Munro, Finn Comfort, Think and Helle — are in Nordstrom, but we can’t afford to drop them, so we show a bigger collection of them,” he said. “We try to mean more to the customers and carry a bigger collection. I tell people we don’t sell christian louboutin pumps, we sell service. You can go get Clarks at DSW, but it’s the service that independents offer that makes them unique.” According to Steve Lax, president and owner of the Farmingdale, N.Y.-based Yaleet Inc., the distributor for Naot, the incursion into the category by department stores is problematic because it dilutes the definition of comfort retailing.

Den fick jag också hem igår och den kändes helt klart värd pengarna. Snygg färg och den har svart-vit randigt foder. Men jag vet inte om jag ska behålla den för jag får inte riktigt till kragen och den ser lite mysko ut när den är knäppt ända upp i halsen. Jag får vänta tills min tonårsdotter kommer hem och agerar smakråd. Hon om nån vet ju vad som gäller…Carina
